Terms and Conditions for Event Styling Services

Whether it is a birthday, conference, wedding, cocktail party, or gala dinner, we are equipped to manage all your event needs, allowing you to enjoy the occasion. From intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, our expertise in furnishing, designing, and creating captivating environments ensures a memorable experience. Agreement Acknowledgement
Before confirming your booking, we require that you carefully review these terms and conditions. They are designed to protect both our business and our valued clients. By agreeing to these terms, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Lush & Lavish Events and are responsible for any breach of this agreement.
An electronic signature is required from the client to confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Lush & Lavish Events reserves the right to enforce this agreement through legal means in the event of a violation. Any legal fees incurred will be the client’s responsibility.
Payment, Invoice, and Booking Confirmation
Quotation and Booking:
- After concluding client consultations and approving the event’s design and style, we will issue a quotation. This quotation remains valid for 3 days, during which your event date and booking are tentatively held. We cannot accommodate provisional bookings beyond this 3-day period.
Deposit:
- A 50% deposit of the total cost (including GST) is required to secure your event date. This deposit is non-refundable and will be deducted from the total invoice. Split deposits or installment payments are not available.
Settlement of Account:
- The remaining 50% of the invoice must be settled at least 7 days before the event. If the balance is not paid by this deadline, we reserve the right to cancel the event and retain any payments made to date.
Payment Method:
- All payments must be made via bank transfer; cash payments are not accepted. You will receive a confirmation email upon a successful transaction.
Client Responsibility
- As our valued client, you are responsible for the safekeeping of our products. In the event of damage, loss, or theft, you will be liable for the full replacement cost. Additionally, if items are not returned or made available for collection after the event, an additional fee will apply.
- Positive cooperation and communication are essential to achieving the best results. Lush & Lavish Events is not responsible if any key individuals are unavailable or uncooperative during meetings or the event itself.
Abusive Behaviour:

We prioritise the safety and well-being of our employees and vendors. If abusive behaviour is observed from the client, guests, or affiliates toward our staff or vendors, Lush & Lavish Events reserves the right to terminate services immediately. In such cases, 25% of the deposit will be retained to cover damages, preparation costs, and inconvenience caused.
Mock-ups
- For events with a budget of $1000 or more, we offer a complimentary mock-up service to help you visualise your dream event. For events under this budget, a $50 fee applies for mock-ups, which includes three .png images featuring Lush & Lavish Events watermarks. These mock-ups will be sent to the provided email within 24-96 hours of your purchase. If your budget later exceeds $1000, the $50 fee will be deducted from your total event cost. Outdoor Events Policy
Plan B Requirement:

For outdoor events, the client must provide a suitable Plan B that will be enacted in case of adverse weather conditions.

If rain is forecasted or high winds are present in the setup area, the event will be moved to the agreed-upon indoor Plan B location.

In cases of extreme heat, outdoor setups are subject to the following limitations:

Temperatures above 25°C can compromise the look of backdrops and balloons, as balloons may pop due to heat expansion.

Above 32°C: We will not perform setups in direct sunlight.

Above 34°C: We will not proceed with outdoor setups at all. The Plan B indoor location must be used.
Outdoor Setup Surface Requirements:

All outdoor setups must be placed on sealed ground, which includes but is not limited to concrete, pavers, or tiles, provided there is no moisture present.

If the setup is to be placed on grass, the grass must be mowed short close to the event date and must be free of moisture.
Security Bond Requirement
- A security bond may be required for certain event setups. This bond amount will be communicated in advance and is fully refundable provided all terms are adhered to and no damage or loss occurs.
Balloon Popping and Disposal

Lush & Lavish Events does not provide balloon popping services unless specifically requested by the client in advance. The sound of balloon popping may cause distress to some guests, and we aim to avoid unnecessary disruption.
Balloons used in event styling become the client’s property following the event. It is the client’s responsibility to take home or dispose of them as they wish once the event concludes.
Policy on Cancellations and Modifications
Cancellation After Deposit Payment:

If you need to cancel your booking, 20% of your deposit will be refunded if the cancellation is made at least 2 months before the scheduled event date. Please note, the deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation is made within 2 months of the event.
Rescheduling:
- If you need to reschedule, we will accommodate your new date and issue a credit note for the full value of your initial booking, valid for 3 months. This is subject to the availability of our services and products, and sufficient notice is required.
Late Cancellation Fee:
- For cancellations or postponements within 1 month of the event date, a late cancellation fee of 10% (including GST) will apply. Deposits are non-refundable, and our cancellation policy will be enforced based on the notice period provided.
Design Modifications:

Design changes can be accommodated at any stage; however, alterations may impact the overall cost and style charge. Changes to the venue within two weeks of the event or requests for locations outside our service area may incur additional charges. Only the addition of new props or design elements is allowed as part of design modifications. Once the deposit is paid, individual props or design elements cannot be removed.

Refunds will not be issued for changes of mind, including circumstances such as financial hardship or job loss.
Venue Access
- The client agrees to arrange a reasonable amount of access time for Lush & Lavish Events to set up and pack down the event space.
- The exact time required for set-up and pack-down will be determined based on the scale and complexity of the event and will be agreed upon by both parties prior to the event.
- Additional fees will apply if there is no nearby loading dock, or if Lush & Lavish Events must navigate stairs, escalators, or steep areas to access the venue.
- The client is also responsible for reimbursing any parking fees incurred by Lush & Lavish Events on the event day.
Design Ownership

Lush & Lavish Events retains ownership of all designs, concepts, and other intellectual property created throughout the project. These designs and concepts may not be reproduced or used by the client or any other party without prior written permission from Lush & Lavish Events.

The client may not claim ownership over any designs, setups, or other proprietary concepts developed by Lush & Lavish Events.
Intellectual Property and Media Use

By booking Lush & Lavish Events, the client grants permission for Lush & Lavish Events to capture and use photos from the event for marketing purposes, including but not limited to website use, social media, editorial, and advertising.

Where images are provided by the client’s event photographer, Lush & Lavish Events will give appropriate credit to the photographer in any published materials.

Lush & Lavish Events may use and publish photographs of the event decor, flowers, and other styling elements across various media channels for promotional purposes. Lush & Lavish Events will respect the client’s privacy and not include the client’s name or photos of guests unless expressly permitted by the client.

All creative work and hired items provided by Lush & Lavish Events should be credited in any publications, media, social media posts, or blogs where they appear. Any third-party or subcontracted suppliers using Lush & Lavish Events' services or products must also provide credit when showcasing these elements.
Termination

Positive cooperation and communication are essential to achieving the best results. Lush & Lavish

Lush & Lavish Events reserves the right to terminate services at any time if the client breaches any terms, provides inaccurate information, or engages in disrespectful or abusive conduct toward Lush & Lavish Events staff or representatives.

In the event of termination, the client remains responsible for paying any outstanding fees for services rendered up to the point of termination. Refunds, excluding the non-refundable 50% deposit, will be at the discretion of Lush & Lavish Events based on incurred costs, stock purchases, and preparation.

Lush & Lavish Events will not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from the termination of services.
- Lush & Lavish Events is not responsible if any key individuals are unavailable or uncooperative during meetings or the event itself.
